Logs and people
Logs
Logs is the live event stream across every connected server: messages, joins and leaves, mod actions, voice presence — whatever you've enabled. Filter by server, by a linked person, or by a raw handle; click any message for the conversation around it and the raw event payload.
Clicking an actor's name filters the stream to just them — across every channel, and (for linked people) across every platform.
People — one human, many handles
The same human often appears as several accounts: a Discord user, an in-game account, an alt. A Person record ties those identities together so context follows the human, not the handle.
- Create a Person under People, then link identities to it — the unlinked-actors list suggests recently seen handles.
- A linked person's timeline unifies their events from every linked identity.
- Log rows badge linked actors with their Person name, so an alt's message reads as the human behind it.
Identity linking is a moderator judgment, not an automated inference — Observer never merges accounts on its own.
Where context shows up
The same conversation-context view renders in three places: expanded log rows, expanded queue rows, and investigation evidence. It's always the messages around the one in question, in its channel, in order.
